Welcome to Vimeo!

In 1991 we hired a massive video camera from Hasnips video rental and bicycle shop, then filmed things around Wickham Market – and Ipswich – for a couple of days. I have had a digitised copy of the footage for a few years now, but the only goods I’ve produced to date are this ‘trailer’ and a few ropey screen grabs (via the magic of Windows XP Movie Maker).

I recently purchased a copy of Sonys Vegas video editing software and am compiling a list of tricks to piece together into an edit.

22 years in the waiting, you can probably afford to wait a little longer.

SKATE ON DOWN TO WICKHAM MARKET

Wickham Market Skatepark Plans

All this talk about Framlingham Skatepark has made me feel the need to draw some attention back to the park built in our own home town.

The opening of Wickham Market Skatepark (in 2004) is responsible for me picking my skateboard up on a more regular basis & playing out with my skateboard friends, old and new, and I love it for that reason. I’ve not gotten any better since it opened but (on the dark side of thirty) I get more exited about skateboarding now than I ever have done.

Quick. Dirty. Cheaty.

EDIT/ NOTE TO SELF: Turns out I don’t actually like this TShirt (should have slept on it?). I thought about deleting this post to hide the evidence but won’t. I’ll just leave it here to serve as a lesson.

When the urge hits & you just can’t help yourself, there’s always Rymans finest Iron-on TShirt transfers.

Quick. Dirty. Cheaty.

S’OK. Nothing like the buzz of a screened one though.

Framlingham Skatepark has fallen apart

Remember when the surface of Fram skatepark was patched up? Sadly the ramps themselves have now fallen apart.

More information can be found in local magazine Framfare (links to PDF).

A rebuild is underway and regular updates can be found on the Framlingham Skate Park Facebook page.

Fenderbaum, the road’s .. open

Note to self (& probably my Mum, as we’re the only visitors). Changed the sites privacy settings tonight & ‘have allowed search engines to access’.

Also added a page with links to the social networks that I play on.

More visitors or more spam? Only time will tell.

Practice Must Be Paying Off

Screen silked, coated (fresh batch), exposed (100w bulb/ 45 minutes) AND washed out FIRST GO!

3 T-Shirts screened (on to Fresh White Gildan SoftStyle), no issues there either.

The T’s have gone to good homes & have happy owners. I’ve also promised to screen another couple for other friends.

Good stuff.

Might (might) even think about popping a couple on eBay soon.
